Girl Scout Troop donates garden benches for comfort at St. Luke’s Health - The Woodlands
THE WOODLANDS, TX – The communications team at St. Luke’s Health - The Woodlands today announced that a local Girl Scout troop completed a project of functionality, beauty, and community for their grounds.
“Girl Scout Troop 105105 dedicated three benches to our hospital’s butterfly garden aimed at providing places for connection, reflection, and appreciation of nature; a place for patient families to grieve, remember, and heal – resting their feet and their souls,” said Sarah Logan, communications manager for St. Luke’s Health, North Houston division.
The benches were created by three young ladies as part of their Silver Award, which is the second-highest award in Scouts, aimed at a sustainable project to continue its impact long after its completion.
Visitors, staff, and patients alike can come see the heartwarming result of these ladies’ efforts at the hospital located at 17200 St. Luke’s Way at I-45 and SH 242.
