Runaway Juvenile Safely Recovered in The Woodlands; Suspect Charged with Harboring a Runaway

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Detectives with Constable Mark Herman's Special Victims Unit (SVU) and High Tech Crimes Unit (HTCU) followed up on a Runaway report taken by Constable Herman's Patrol Division. It was believed the missing female juvenile was in the company of an adult male.

The Detectives used various legal processes and review of existing data on both persons to determine the male's address to be in The Woodlands area. Constable Herman's Detectives went to the residence and recovered the missing juvenile.

After the scene investigation, the Montgomery County District Attorney's was contacted and a charge of Harboring a Runaway was accepted against the Defendant, Ryan Southam. Southam was booked into the Montgomery County Jail by Constable Herman's Detectives. His bond was set at $10,000.00.

The missing juvenile was returned to her parents, and additional charges on Southam are pending further investigation.
