Celebrate National Night Out 2025

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Join your neighbors for National Night Out—a fun community tradition celebrating neighborhood spirit, public safety and crime prevention!

The Woodlands Neighborhoods
3 to 6 p.m.
National Night Out is built on the simple yet powerful idea that “neighbor knowing neighbor” is one of the most effective ways to prevent crime. On this evening, residents are encouraged to lock their doors, turn on their porch lights and step outside to connect with their neighbors.
National Night Out Parties
Residents are encouraged to host or attend neighborhood gatherings as part of National Night Out. Party registration, promotional videos, a party guide and frequently asked questions are available online at thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov/nationalnightout.
National Night Out Packet Pick-Up Day
To assist with celebrations, The Woodlands Township Neighborhood Services will host Packet Pick-Up Day on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at The Woodlands Township Townhall, 2801 Technology Forest Blvd. Supplies may include balloons, giveaways, yard signs and party ideas. Pre-registration is encouraged but not required.
Community Activities and Contests
National Night Out in The Woodlands offers a variety of opportunities for neighborhood engagement, including:
- Theme Party Contest
- Sidewalk Chalk Art Competition
- Selfie with Public Safety Photo Contest (#NationalNightOutTheWoodlands)
- Food Drive in partnership with Interfaith of The Woodlands
- I.D. the Burglar Village Challenge
- National Night Out Military Drive
Food Drive in Partnership with Interfaith of The Woodlands
Residents are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items to their neighborhood parties. Donations can be dropped off at Interfaith of The Woodlands, 4242 Interfaith Way, October 6–10, 2025, during designated hours. Be sure to note “National Night Out” when making contributions.
I.D. the Burglar Village Challenge
In this interactive contest, one registered party per village will be selected to participate. A “burglar” and a “good guy” will visit the neighborhood with a Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office deputy. Residents will work together as a team to identify the suspect, promoting cooperation and crime prevention awareness.
National Night Out Military Drive
Neighborhoods can support military service members by collecting care package items at their parties. Donated items will be accepted at The Woodlands Township Townhall, October 6–10, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Selfie with Public Safety Photo Contest
Residents can snap a selfie with public safety personnel during their neighborhood gathering and share it on Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #NationalNightOutTheWoodlands by 11:59 p.m. on October 5, 2025. Winners will be announced on The Woodlands Township Facebook page on October 7.
