Vigilant Citizen Helps Montgomery County Deputies Arrest Armed Felon at Conroe Costco Gas Station

CONROE, TX -- On October 10, 2025, deputies from the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the Costco Wholesale located at 8185 Highway 242, Conroe, TX 77385, following a report of suspicious activity at the gas pumps. A vigilant citizen observed a male exhibiting unusual behavior while parked at the pumps and contacted law enforcement.

Upon their arrival, deputies engaged with the individual, later identified as Nathan Washington. Through the course of their investigation, deputies seized multiple firearms and arrested Washington for unlawful carrying of a weapon (by a felon) and possession of marijuana.
