Two Arrested in South Montgomery County for Possession of Child Pornography Following Cyber-Tip Investigation

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- On October 29, 2025, detectives from Constable Ryan Gable’s child exploitation unit received a cyber-tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children concerning a suspect involved in the uploading or downloading of child sexual assault material. The information further indicated that Anthony Thomas Winders and Cheyenne Marie Dunbar were actively involved in viewing and/or sharing this material. Additionally, detectives discovered that while both Winders and Dunbar were viewing the content, they did so with children present in their residence, and Winders had his male sexual organ exposed. Detectives from Constable Gable’s Office, along with the Montgomery County Pct. 1 Constable’s Office, the Montgomery County Pct. 2 Constable’s Office, the Texas Department of Public Safety, and the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office obtained and executed a residential search warrant as part of the investigation. The search took place at the Fawn Ridge Apartment Complex in South Montgomery County, Texas. During the search, detectives established sufficient probable cause to place both Winders and Dunbar into custody. Winders faces one count of Possession of Child Pornography, while Dunbar is charged with four counts of the same offense.
No children were located at the residence during the search. Pct. 3 detectives are collaborating with Child Protective Services to ensure the safety and well-being of any affected children.
Constable Gable expresses gratitude to the Montgomery County Pct. 1 Constable’s Office, the Montgomery County Pct. 2 Constable’s Office, the Texas Department of Public Safety, and the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office for their essential support in this operation—demonstrating teamwork for the protection of children.
