Applications Open October 1 for The Pavilion Partners Fine Arts Scholarships

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion is excited to announce that applications for The Pavilion Partners Fine Arts Scholarships will open on October 1.
This prestigious merit-based scholarship honors exceptional academic achievement and artistic talent, offering graduating high school seniors the chance to pursue their passion for the fine arts at the collegiate level. Eligible students planning to major in areas such as dance, music, vocal performance, theater or the visual arts are encouraged to apply.
Since the program began, Pavilion Partners volunteers have awarded more than $2.9 million in scholarships and renewal scholarships supporting the next generation of dancers, musicians, vocalists, actors and visual artists. These scholarships have eased the financial burden of higher education and served as a launchpad for countless students to thrive in their artistic careers.
This year The Pavilion is proud to also honor the memory and legacy of Deborah Butler, a longtime Pavilion Partners volunteer and dedicated co-chair of the Scholarship Committee. Deborah devoted her time and energy to helping students pursue their dreams in the arts, leaving a lasting impact on The Pavilion family. To carry forward her passion and commitment, The Pavilion Partners established the Deborah Butler Memorial Scholarship, which will be awarded annually to the highest scoring scholarship applicant. This special honor ensures that her belief in the power of education and opportunity will live on for generations.
“We are honored to invest in the future of young artists and help them reach their full potential,” said Jeff Young, President and CEO of The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. “The Pavilion Partners Fine Arts Scholarships and the Deborah Butler Memorial Scholarship reflect our mission to make the arts accessible while inspiring and supporting the next generation of creative leaders.”
High school fine arts instructors and students are encouraged to share and explore this opportunity. For complete details, eligibility requirements and application instructions, please visit: https://www.woodlandscenter.org/education/scholarships
