THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Join The Woodlands Township as they celebrate 19 years of big vehicles and big fun at the annual Touch-A-Truck event!
Saturday, February 28, 2026
The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park
6464 Creekside Forest Drive
9 a.m. to noon
Children of all ages are invited to The Woodlands Township’s annual Touch-A-Truck event on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 9 a.m. to noon in the parking lot of The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park, 6464 Creekside Forest Drive in The Woodlands, TX 77389. This free, all-ages-friendly event offers the community an opportunity to touch, climb and interact with trucks and vehicles, play in a kid-friendly construction zone featuring a giant sandbox, enjoy our kidzone activities and visit multiple vendors for crafts and games.
This year’s Presenting Sponsor is Soccer Shots, who along with various other local businesses will be participating at this year’s event like The Woodlands Fire Department, Harris County Sheriff’s Office, Homeland Security and more.
Vehicles of all sizes will be onsite for participants to enjoy, such as garbage trucks, commuter buses, Township trolley, tow trucks and other large vehicles. Drivers and operators will be on hand to educate, provide demonstrations and answer questions about the vehicles. The first hour of the event is “sensory friendly,” which means it is the optimal time to bring children or infants who are sensitive to loud noises, such as horns.
Parking: Parking is located across the street at the Rob Fleming Aquatic Center, 6535 Creekside Forest Drive. Additional parking is available at Rob Fleming Park, 6055 Creekside Forest Drive, and Creekside Forest Elementary School, 5949 Creekside Forest Drive.
Inclement Weather: In the event of inclement weather, Touch-A-Truck may be cancelled.
