Woodlands Water announces winners of its Spring Youth Art Contest
THE WOODLANDS, TX – Earlier this year, Woodlands Water hosted a special art contest for children in grades 3, 4, and 5. The ‘Every Drop Counts’ art contest accepted submissions through the spring of original artwork incorporating the theme ‘every drop counts.’
One winner was chosen for each grade level, with a $150 gift card for classroom supplies awarded to that student’s teacher. Additionally, the winning art will be featured at The Woodlands Water Agency building.
“Congratulations to the winners of our Spring Youth Art Contest! The winner of each grade earned $150 for school supplies for their classroom. Thank you to all the budding young artists who submitted this year. Great stuff!” said event organizers in a statement.
The winners and their schools were:
- 3rd Grade - Ira Nitina, Powell Elementary
- 4th Grade - Sterling Barnett, Discovery School of Innovation
- 5th Grade - Kaiah Devone, Wilkerson Intermediate
- 6th Grade - Sophia Chen, Coulson Tough Elementary
