THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Woodlands Children’s Museum is thrilled to announce its 2026 Summer Camp season, offering ten individual weeks of indoor, educational exploration from June 1st through August 7th. Designed for children ages 4–10, these STEAM-focused camps (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) provide a creative sanctuary for young learners.

This year’s camp lineup features a robust selection of traditional and digital disciplines. Led by certified educators and experienced community collaborators, the 2026 curriculum balances rigorous discovery with age-appropriate fun.

Using specialized NISE (National Informal STEM Education) kits for scientific exploration, campers will engage in hands-on experiments to discover habitats, physics, space, and the animal kingdom.

Young artists can explore their creativity through a wide range of media, including clay sculpting, oil painting, watercolor, and large-scale cardboard constructions.

In addition to the beloved LEGO® Bot Builders, the museum is offering Beyond Robotics and Creative Coders to challenge the next generation of technical thinkers.

The museum is also proud to debut an extended-day theatre experience: Lights, Camera, Action! Featuring a Toy Story theme, this immersive class runs from 9:00am to 3:00pm, allowing children to step into the world of performance and storytelling.

For the 5–10 age group, the popular Creator Camp returns with a high-tech roster including: 3D Game Development, Minecraft Builders, Minecraft Modders & Coders, Roblox Game Masters, Dino World Gamemakers, Superhero Moviemakers, Animal Kingdom, and Battlebot Technicians workshops.

Camps are offered in two sessions: Morning (9:00am – 12:00pm) and Afternoon (1:00pm – 4:00pm). For families enrolled in both sessions, the museum offers "Lunch Bunch," a supervised bridge program between classes. Please note that Lunch Bunch is available for campers ages 5–10; 4-year-olds are eligible for half-day sessions only.

“Our goal is to provide a space where curiosity is the curriculum,” said Education Coordinator, Jamie Glass. “By combining the expertise of certified teachers with cutting-edge partners like Creator Camp, we’re ensuring that every child finds their spark—whether it’s through a paintbrush, a robot, or a science kit.”

Registration is now open. Space is limited and expected to fill quickly. For more information on session dates and enrollment, please visit https://woodlandschildrensmuseum.org/summercamps2026
