Porter Man Arrested for Burglary at East County Convention Center Construction Site in Montgomery County

PORTER, TX -- In the early morning hours of July 25, 2026, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office deputies assigned to the East Patrol Command responded to an alarm in the 21600 block of Valley Ranch Parkway. The alarm was at the East County Convention Center, which is currently under construction.

Deputies arrived quickly and detained a male who was walking away from the premises. After conducting their investigation and reviewing surveillance footage, the male was identified as 27-year-old Nicholas Campbell of Porter, TX. Campbell was taken into custody and is currently booked into the Montgomery County Jail for Burglary of a Building.
