Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Crime Lab Earns ANAB Accreditation in Firearms Discipline

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Crime Laboratory has earned accreditation from the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) in the firearms discipline under internationally recognized standards.

This achievement places the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office among only 14 agencies in Texas accredited by ANAB in the firearms discipline. The accreditation reflects the Crime Laboratory’s commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement in forensic services.

The Crime Laboratory completed this rigorous accreditation process in just 13 months. A significant accomplishment that demonstrates the Crime Labs dedication and hard work.
