Around the World in a Weekend: Volunteer at Pavilion Palooza
THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion is inviting community members to volunteer at Pavilion Palooza, presented by Texas Children’s, on Saturday, November 7 and Sunday, November 8, 2026. Formerly known as Children’s Festival, Pavilion Palooza is a reimagined family-friendly music and arts festival that will take families on a global adventure through music, dance, art and cultural experiences.
With this year’s theme, “World Tour,” Pavilion Palooza will transform The Pavilion into an international celebration featuring interactive activities, live performances and hands-on opportunities for children and families to explore the arts. Volunteers will help bring this experience to life, welcoming guests and supporting a weekend filled with creativity, discovery and family fun.
From interactive musical performances and instrument exploration to arts and crafts, cultural activities and play spaces for young children, Pavilion Palooza offers experiences for visitors of all ages. Festival areas include Roots & Rhythms, Palooza Playland, Harmony Gardens, Island Sounds, Rhythm Village, Plaza de la Música and Melody Motorway, each offering unique opportunities for families to learn, play and experience different cultures.
“Pavilion Palooza is an exciting opportunity to bring our community together through music and the arts,” said Jeff Young, President & CEO of The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. “Our volunteers play an important role in creating welcoming, memorable experiences for families. We invite community members to join us in helping make this festival a success and sharing the joy of the arts with the next generation.”
Volunteers are an important part of The Pavilion’s commitment to providing meaningful arts experiences and strengthening community connections. By giving their time, volunteers help create an engaging environment where children can discover new interests, families can make memories and guests can experience the arts in new and exciting ways.
