Happy Holidays!

Our staff and Board Members at The Woodlands Arts Council wish you a festive season filled with joy, laughter, and meaningful moments with your loved ones.

May this time inspire your creativity and offer opportunities to enjoy the arts together. Bring your family to visit the photography exhibition before December 19, or take a stroll through The Woodlands to enjoy our vibrant public art collection.

This Holiday Season, Give the Gift of Art

There is joy in giving something meaningful to the people we love.

An Art Lover Membership is a thoughtful way to share your passion and support for the arts. Give the Gift of Art and welcome someone into our community of Art Lovers!

The Art Lover Membership runs on a calendar-year basis, and benefits include tickets to our signature events, exclusive preview events at our opening receptions, and many more.

Share your love for the arts with a friend, join this enthusiastic group, or renew your membership today.

Thank You

For Making Art Matter With Us!

Your incredible support has helped us meet our $6,000 goal to bring the Community Gratitude Mural to life.

Created by artist Marlo Saucedo, this mural will weave together the gratitude messages from our community members in honor of the United States' 250th anniversary. It will be permanently displayed at the Kevin Brady Community Center.

We can’t wait to share the next steps with you. Keep following our emails and social channels for updates on this community project!

2025 Senior Watercolor Holiday Art Kit

This year, we launched an effort to make hands-on arts experiences more accessible to seniors throughout Montgomery County. Thanks to a collaboration with Interfaith Of The Woodlands, we’re able to reach seniors who deserve creative opportunities right in their own community.

For the holidays, we assembled and distributed 160 Watercolor Holiday Art Kits, which include festive supplies and a simple instruction page with a QR code linking to a step-by-step video tutorial led by local artist, educator, and filmmaker Dandridge Reed, who guides participants through creating a watercolor ornament.

The holiday kit project was possible thanks to a grant provided by

The Montgomery County Community Foundation (MCCF).

Left to Right: Nelda Blair and Bruce Tough (George's Coffee Club), Jenny Carattini-Wright (TWAC's CEO & Executive Director), and Janice Thigpen (MCCF volunteer).

We have a limited number of kits still available at our office.

You’re welcome to pick one up while supplies last!
