Requirements and Skills:
* Welcome guests in a friendly polite manner
* Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
* Manage reservations using Open Table
* Escort customers to their table
* Provide menus and server's name
* Thank customers upon their departure
* Maintain a clean host stand
* Cater to guests who require extra attention
* Answer incoming calls and address customers' quesitons
* Assist serving staff as needed
* Previous work experience as a Host/Hostess is a plus
* Understanding of restaurant etiquette
* Familiarity with health and safety regulations
* Experience in managing reservations
* Wonderful customer-service skills
* Excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person)
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining area
$12/hr while training
$13-$14/hr after training
