Lady Warriors battle Cypress Christian, come up short

CYPRESS, Texas – The Woodlands Christian Academy volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision at Cypress Christian on Tuesday, Sept. 10. The Lady Warriors host St. Thomas Episcopal at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12.

Alexa Draudt had seven kills and 11 digs for the Lady Warriors, who came up just short, 27-25, in the opening game. The home team held on to the momentum through the final two games, scoring 25-18 and 25-21 victories to close out the match.

Sam Thomas added 10 digs. Rachel Earle, Summer Wheeler, Sydney Vanderpool, Margaret Echols and Darcy Sanford combined for another 13 kills.
