THE WOODLANDS, Texas--Are you looking to build, remodel or redecorate your home? Then, come discover new home products and resources at the Better Home Show Expo, Houston’s only interactive home show. The event is set for Sat. April 26 from 10 am to 4 pm at MainStreet America, conveniently located 10 minutes south of The Woodlands and 30 minutes north of downtown Houston.

Throughout the day, local experts will offer seminars and demonstrations on the latest trends in home products ranging from countertops to plumbing fixtures to landscaping ideas. Participating vendors include: Criterion Mortgage, RollTex Shutters, Kent Moore Cabinets, Danver, Surface Systems Texas, DuPure, Aquatic Co., Innovative Skylights, Origin Architects, Platinum Pools, Simonton Windows, Spring-Klein Chamber of Commerce, Texas Plumbing Supply, Legrand, LG Hausys America, Inc. and James Hardie Building Company. In addition, visitors will be exposed to more than 75 other manufacturers represented throughout MainStreet America’s Parade of Showcase Homes.

Mike Feigin, CEO and founder of MainStreet America and Design Tech Homes said that this home expo is unlike any other because visitors can educate themselves about choosing a contractor, building green, design ideas at the site of 12 demonstration homes. “So, unlike a traditional home and garden show, at the Better Home Show Expo, visitors are able to see, touch and learn about thousands of products in the context of a fully-functioning home.”

Beginning at 11:30 am, there will be four seminars scheduled from some of the area’s leading experts including Texas Plumbing Supply, LG Hausys America, Inc. and DuPure. From 2:30 pm until 4 pm, Mike Feigin, CEO and founder of Design Tech Homes and MainStreet America will present a special homebuyer’s seminar to discuss topics that potential buyers should know before building on their own lot including site planning, soil testing, inspections, warranties, green building certification/LEED and financing. Feigin has more than 25 years of homebuilding experience. In 1997, he established Design Tech Homes, one of the largest full-service, custom home builders in Texas, building over 1,500 custom homes to date.

Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at MainStreet America. MSA members will receive free admission to the Expo.

MainStreet America, the nation’s only year-round Parade of Showcase Homes, is conveniently located in Spring, TX, just south of The Woodlands and 30 minutes north of downtown Houston off of Interstate 45.
