THE WOODLANDS, Texas – The 14th Annual Spring Home & Garden Show The Woodlands will be held Saturday and Sunday, March 12 and 13, 2016, at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center, 1601 Lake Robbins Drive.

From patios to paint, 14th Annual Spring Home & Garden Show The Woodlands has homeowners covered

Just in time for spring projects, homeowners looking to spruce up their landscapes or interiors will find a plethora of experts and get an opportunity to see and touch popular home-improvement products.

“Gardeners and fans of outdoor living will find a lot of inspiration and advice at this year’s show,” said Tony Wood, president of Texwood Shows Inc., producer of the annual home and garden show. “And homeowners who are considering updating their homes, or even building new, can learn about today’s product and design trends at our Custom Homebuilding Stage.”

Randy Lemmon, host of the KTRH GardenLine Radio Show, will broadcast live from the show on Saturday, March 12, which will be followed with a discussion of the topics covered in his newest book, “Texas Tough Gardening with Randy Lemmon.” In addition, the Ask The Master Gardeners Booth will be staffed both days of the show by local Master Gardeners who will answer gardening and landscape questions from those in attendance.

With water features gaining popularity in outdoor living plans, Fountain Works joins the show and will set up a patio fountain display and provide experts to answer questions and provide guidance about adding fountains and other water elements. And when that water comes in the form of rain, Conroe Awning & Screen has the answer with the newest designs in retractable patio awnings, which provide shelter from both spring rains and summer sun.

Whether homeowner plans include a new build or updating interiors, an expert at the Custom Homebuilding Stage can help. Providing an opportunity for experts to discuss the latest in custom homebuilding trends, the stage will feature seminars by Stephen Hann of Hann Builders, and Kate Smith, color expert with Sensational Color. In addition, Smith will offer private consultations by appointment, as well as to walk-up attendees – schedule permitting. For more information or to sign up for a private session with Smith, visit the show’s website at WoodlandsShows.com.

To give new life to old concepts, Final Touch Granite & Remodeling will showcase the latest in marble countertops, displaying an unusual marble that is harder and denser than typical marble, making cleanup and maintenance much easier. And Simple Elegance will demonstrate the PowerView Motorization/Automation App from Hunter Douglas, which allows homeowners to schedule automatic operations or operate their homes’ window treatments remotely from a mobile device.

“Of course, our Cunningham Gas Products Outdoor Cooking Stage will be busy both days featuring Clarence Alexander, executive chef at Kirby’s Prime Steakhouse, and Lawrence Fogarty, culinary instructor at Houston’s Main Course,” Wood said. “And show-favorites Cyclers Brewing and Fall Creek Winery will provide tastings of their craft products, and Denman Moody, author of ‘The Advanced Oenophile,’ will join us to share his expertise with fellow wine lovers.”

Tickets for the 14th Annual Spring Home and Garden Show The Woodlands are $9 for adults, $8 for seniors, and children 12 years and younger can attend for free. Free covered parking is available in the parking garage behind the convention center next to the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion at Six Pines and Lake Robbins. After parking take the pedestrian skywalk connected to the 4th floor of the garage that will lead you to the hotel/convention center.
