Mercedes-Benz of The Woodlands sponsors Hat Auction for New Dansville's Tea on the Lawn

THE WOODLANDS, Texas — Mercedes-Benz of The Woodlands recently sponsored and hosted Chapeaux for Charity, a kick off to the 8th annual “Tea on the Lawn” benefitting New Danville. The premier pre-event featured a silent auction of an array of beautifully adorned hats that have been generously donated, including several from past Kentucky Derby events. Hats are the signature attire for the “Tea on the Lawn” luncheon. The hat auction entertained underwriters, sponsors and ticket holders while they enjoyed Chloe wine and appetizers in the dealership’s elegant showroom floor.

New Danville is a master-planned community in Willis, Texas, for adults with special needs such as the Autism Spectrum, brain injuries and many of the over 100 disabilities.

Set for Friday, April 22, 2016, this year’s “Tea on the Lawn” will feature as guest speaker Naomi Judd, six-time Grammy award winner, celebrated songwriter, bestselling author, actress and passionate health advocate. Tanya Urban is the 2016 “Tea on the Lawn” honoree.
