Strykers lose season finale, 7-3

THE WOODLANDS, Texas - The Woodlands Strykers were defeated in their final game of the regular season, losing to the Acadiana Cane Cutters, 7-3.

Jonathan Ducoff went 3-for- 4 in the two hole, including an RBI single that scored Cody Staab in the top of the third. Staab scored two runs and had a hit while Josh Russell had a sacrifice fly, hit and a walk.

The Woodlands will now wait and see what the Texas Marshals do in their final two games. The Strykers are a game ahead of the Marshals but Texas has two more games to play after tonight. If the Strykers make the playoffs, they will play Saturday night in Bryan against the Brazos Valley Bombers at 7:05 pm.
