Night of Noel Benefits Mcys Bridgeway Shelter

THE WOODLANDS, TX - Chris Elmi, Broker Associate with Heritage Texas Properties, recently held Night of Noel at Nordstrom at the Bazille restaurant on Wednesday evening, Nov. 30, to collect donations for the Montgomery County Youth Services BridgeWay youth shelter residents. The drive successfully collected items including: socks, sheets, art supplies, sports balls, gift cards, toiletries and clothing.

The Bridgeway youth shelter is a co-ed short term shelter program for youth ages 10-17, who are in need of a temporary place to stay that is safe, secure and provides immediate support. Montgomery County Youth Services also provides basic needs such as clothing, hygiene supplies, food, transportation to medical and dental care, and connecting to community resources.

The needs of the teenager residents are often overlooked in holiday giving and are greatly needed. 'I wanted to make sure these teens were not left out and had a little something to brighten their holiday,' said Elmi. 'The turnout fantastic, we received many donations and I look forward to hosting the event again next year.'
