Montgomery County Sheriff's Office investigating shooting deaths

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas -- On October 6, 2018 at about 5:50 PM, Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a residence on Wind River Drive, Conroe, TX in reference to a welfare check.

While in route to the residence, deputies learned a relative had made entry into the residence and found the two occupants deceased. Deputies made entry into the residence and located the two deceased individuals, Anthony Janczak, a 47 year old male, and Ivonne Janczak, a 57 year old female, inside the residence. The deceased individuals appeared to have died by gunshot.

Detectives with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Homicide and Violent Crimes are currently investigating. Justice of the Peace Wayne Mack responded to the scene and ordered autopsies on both deceased individuals. Although the investigation is still ongoing, there is no reason to believe there is any threat to the public related to these deaths.
