THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Just after 01:30 on January 6, 2019 South County was notified of a house fire on Oak Ridge dr near Nursery. Station 1 arrived with 5 minutes and found a two story structure completely involved in fire, crews immediately began protecting the neighboring houses that were beginning to catch fire while working to extinguish the original house. Their quick actions prevented the other houses from sustaining major damage.
Station 1 was assisted by The Woodlands stations 1 and 3 and South County stations 3 and 4 along with Battalions 11-1 and 2 and Safety 11-3
The fire is being investigated by the Montgomery County Fire Marshal’s office
