Building Fire in the 1000 block of Sawdust Road

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Just after 12:30 SMCFD was advised of a building fire in the 1000 block of sawdust road. Station 1 arrived within 5 mins and found smoke coming from a strip of warehouses. Station 1s crew entered the structure and was quickly able to extinguish the fire before it could spread beyond the point of origin. Station 1 was assisted by Needham E62 at the scene and multiple other South County and Spring Fire Department units were en route when the scene was declared under control.

There were no injuries reported. Their quick actions prevent any further damage to the attached businesses. The fire is being investigated by the Montgomery County Fire Marshall.
