TRAFFIC ALERT - Funeral procession for fallen firefighter Friday morning

THE WOODLANDS, TX – On Friday, March 8 starting at approcimately 8:45 a.m., the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office will be assisting South Montgomery County Fire Department with the funeral procession for Firefighter Corby McKenzie.

The procession will commence at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Huntsville, and will end at Oak Ridge Baptist Church, 500 East Oak Hill Dr. in Spring.

All traffic will be stopped on southbound lanes of I-45 as the procession proceeds from Huntsvile to Oak Ridge North; drivers are encouraged to plan accordingly and expect traffic delays.

McKenzie died last week due to occupational cancer.
