Begin Preparing For A Possible Hard Freeze Over The Weekend

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- We can expect showers and thunderstorms ahead of the cold front that will move through the area on Friday night and Saturday morning. This cold front will bring the coldest temperatures of the season so far. By Saturday afternoon we will have drier air and windy conditions. Temperatures are expected to fall from near to slightly below freezing Saturday night into Sunday morning. A Hard Freeze (temperatures below 25 degrees F for 2 consecutive hours) may occur.

There is no freezing precipitation expected at this time.
