Montgomery County Memorial Library System Branches Adjust Hours in The Woodlands for Marathon Saturday

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The Montgomery County Memorial Library System (MCMLS) branches located in The Woodlands will adjust their regularly scheduled hours of opening to allow for runner safety and traffic congestion during The Woodlands Marathon on Saturday, March 2, 2019.

The George & Cynthia Woods Mitchell Library, located on the race route at 8125 Ashlane Way, will delay opening until noon to allow all race traffic to proceed past the library driveway and normal traffic conditions to resume. Mitchell Library will be open from 12:00 pm until 5:00 pm and will be providing the usual library services, including access to all library materials, reference assistance, public computer access, and Children’s services.

The South Regional Library, located at 2101 Lake Robbins Drive, will be closed on Saturday, March 2, 2019, to allow access to the race course along the Waterway.

The Montgomery County Memorial Library System branches located in other parts of the county, including the Central Library in Conroe, will be open regular Saturday hours. For library locations and services, visit www.countylibrary.org or contact Library Administration at 936-788-8377.
