HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - Crime Stoppers, The Harris County Sheriff’s Office and the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force need the public's assistance locating Fugitive Efrain Gutierrez Jr. who is wanted for Escape, Evading Arrest/Detention, three felony counts of Theft and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

On February 28, 2019, at approximately 11:30 a.m., Fugitive Efrain Gutierrez Jr. escaped from custody in the 1200 Block of Congress Avenue in Houston, Texas. The Fugitive had been taken into custody during a court proceeding in the 182nd Harris County District Court for Felony Theft. Somehow, he managed to free himself and run from the courtroom.

Fugitive Efrain Gutierrez Jr. is a Hispanic male, 38 years old, approximately 5'8', 190 lbs., with brown eyes, short black hair, with tattoos covering his chest and arms.
