EggTivities at The Woodlands Children’s Museum

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The Woodlands Children’s Museum has hatched up two days’ worth of Easter fun and surprises for this year’s EggTivities celebration.

During EggTivities, set for 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday and Saturday, April 19 and 20, children and their families can delight in creating a bunny mask, dying eggs and embellishing an egg-carton basket or bunny box that can be used to carry their egg-cellent creations.

Parents are encouraged to bring their cameras to capture photos of their little ones with the Easter Bunny, who will be hopping by the museum for periodic visits.

EggTivities will take place at 4775 W. Panther Creek Drive, Suite 280, The Woodlands, Texas 77381.

“This is an egg-citing opportunity for families to make special memories and enjoy the local traditions of Easter together,” Executive Director Angela Colton said. “EggTivities is designed to encourage children to flex their creative muscles, to use their imaginations and, of course, to have fun!”

EggTivities is included in the museum’s regular $7 admission for visitors age 1 and older. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

To protect the health and safety of the museum’s costumed performers, the Easter Bunny will limit appearances at the museum to 15-minute stays. While the museum staff will do their best to accommodate as many patrons as possible, they will not be able to extend the appearance times.
