VARSITY GIRLS’ SOFTBALL

3/18 at Cypress Christian • 15–8 LOSS

Alex Sims got the high-scoring game started in the first inning with a single in the first inning, scoring one run. The Dragons had a total of 13 hits with Meghan Coninger, Amera Finnie and Olivia Amador collecting multiple hits to lead the charge. Pitcher Ally Flinn struck out seven.

3/20 vs. KIPP Generations • 28-13 WIN

The Dragons pulled ahead late in the game for the 28-13 victory. Fleur Harper got the Dragon scoring started in the first inning when she doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs. The game was tied, 13-13 in the bottom of the fourth when Ally Flinn turned it around, as she tripled on a 2-0 count, scoring a run. Marion Donald led the Dragons, going 3-for-3 at the plate, by driving in four runs. On the mound, Flinn allowed three hits and 13 runs over four innings, striking out five. In total, the Dragons had 10 hits, Donald, Alex Sims and Flinn all had multiple hits.

3/22 vs. HCYA • 15–1 LOSS

Alex Sims led the Dragons at bat with two hits in two.
