THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Michael Singh, a high school senior at The Woodlands Christian Academy (TWCA), was recently notified that not only did he receive the top score of 5 on his Advanced Placement (AP) Exam in May 2018, but he was one of the 100 students in the world to earn every point possible on the AP Spanish Language and Culture Exam.

Michael Singh of TWCA earns top score on AP Spanish Language and Culture Exam.

The AP Exam offers high school students the opportunity to pursue college level studies. A student can earn college credit for a course if they score a 3 or higher on the exam. Five is the highest score, which is the equivalent to a grade of A for the college course. In Michael’s case, he not only received an A, but essentially a perfect score of 100%.

Trevor Packer, Senior Vice President of AP and Instruction at The College Board, credits TWCA with preparing Michael for success on the exam. “This outstanding accomplishment is likely a direct reflection of the top-quality education being offered at The Woodlands Christian Academy,” Mr. Packer said. He continued, “we applaud Michael’s hard work and also the AP teacher responsible for engaging students and enabling them to excel in a college-level course.”
