Montgomery County Sheriff's Homicide/Violent Crimes Unit Investigates Vehicular Homicide

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- On April 30, 2019 at 8:54 PM Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a parking lot located at 25170 I45 North in reference to a crash. During the investigation Deputies learned a male, identified as 54 year old Michael Anthony Van Fossen, appeared to be involved in a verbal altercation with the occupants of a light colored sedan. During the verbal altercation, the vehicle struck Van Fossen and then fled towards the north bound I45 feeder road prior to the arrival of police. Michael Van Fossen, co-owner of Elite Massage in Spring Texas, was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
