Montgomery County Precinct 1 Deputy Constable Attempts to Serve Warrant but Finds House on Fire

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- On July 25, 2019, A Precinct 1 Deputy Constable was attempting to serve a Justice of the Peace (JP) Warrant at 25 Laguna Rd, in Montgomery, Texas. The deputy went to the front door and knocked to see if anyone was home. The house appeared to be vacant when the deputy noticed smoke coming from the ridge vent. The deputy notified dispatch of the situation; Montgomery Fire Department arrived on location, located the fire and then extinguished it.
