MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- In recognition of National Veterans and Families Month, Sheriff Rand Henderson and the employees of the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office are demonstrating their support by wearing OD green badges and shirts throughout November. These badges and shirts symbolize our unwavering commitment and solidarity with veterans and their families. Each employee purchased their badge and shirt and donated a portion of the proceeds to support Camp Hope, an organization dedicated to relieving the effects of combat trauma on the men and women who have protected and served our great nation. Camp Hope's mission is to engage in the relentless pursuit of empowering the veteran community by creating a transformative impact that changes the trajectory of their lives.

Today, Sheriff Rand Henderson presented a check for $3,841.20 to Camp Hope for the money raised from the proceeds. This small gesture reflects our admiration and respect for their sacrifices and the challenges their families face every day. Here at the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, it is with great respect that we honor and recognize the efforts and contributions of our veterans, and we are proud to stand with them in their ongoing journey of healing and recovery.
