Help Montgomery County Animal Shelter Clear the Shelter

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- SAVE THE DATE! National #cleartheshelters day is coming up Saturday, August 17. All adoption fees will be waived on this special day. Adoptions include spay/neuter, vaccines and microchip. The shelter will open 30 minutes early at 11am and will remain open until 5pm.

Clear the Shelters is the largest single-day adoption event in the country. The day is all about finding homes for shelter pets nationwide - as well as bringing awareness to shelter overcrowding. There are over 750 dogs, cats, puppies and kittens currently at Montgomery County Animal Shelter (MCAS) who all need loving homes. MCAS is over capacity and we hope to see a significant number of adoptions.
