THE WOODLANDS, TX - Step right up and join the JDRF Houston Gulf Coast Chapter under the big top as they walk the tightrope to raise awareness and support for T1D. This year’s theme, “The Greatest Walk on Earth,” is inspired by the unity and resilience displayed by the characters in “The Greatest Showman,” much like those living with and caring for the autoimmune disease, type 1 diabetes. JDRF One Walk The Woodlands presents a 2.2-mile route on Saturday, November 9th at Lone Star College – Montgomery. Together, One Walk Houston and One Walk The Woodlands have a goal to raise over $1.3 million for T1D.

JDRF is the leading global organization focused on type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. JDRF’s goal is to progressively remove the impact of diabetes from people’s lives until we achieve a world without T1D. JDRF collaborates with a wide spectrum of partners and is the only organization with the scientific resources, regulatory influence and a working plan to bring life-changing therapies from the lab to the T1D community. Registration and check-in starts at 7:30am, with the walk beginning at 9:00am. Click here to register.
