Montgomery County Sheriff's Office Investigated Fraud near The Woodlands

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX - On August 29, 2019, Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the LA Fitness located at 3570 Harmony Commons Drive in Spring, Texas in reference to fraud. Deputies learned from the victim that he received a fraud alert from his bank about 15 minutes after locking his belongings in a locker at the gym. The victim informed Deputies the lock had been removed from the locker and his wallet was missing from his backpack. The victim's credit cards were allegedly used at multiple stores in the Spring, Texas area with over $5,000 in charges placed. Detectives with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office were able to obtain surveillance video of the suspect using the card. The suspect can be seen in the photos above.
