Registration Opens for Three Woodlands Township Signature Races December 1

THE WOODLANDS, TX - Enjoy the thrill and competition of participating in endurance events from triathlon to trail running, all produced by The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department.

All three races will be capped to ensure participant safety and are expected to reach capacity, so early registration is advised. For event details, please visit Registration links are available below for each race.
Woodforest Bank TRI - The Woodlands Triathlon (April 4, 2020)
The 17th Annual Woodforest Bank TRI – The Woodlands Triathlon offers a beginner-friendly atmosphere, first-rate race management and scenic courses to participants ranging from beginners to nationally ranked triathletes. The USA Triathlon (USAT) sanctioned sprint triathlon is composed of a 500-meter open-water swim in Lake Woodlands, 12.8 mile bike course through The Woodlands and a 5K run. A variety of opportunities are available to participants to prepare for Race Day, making it an ideal first time race for those who are just being introduced to the sport. The Woodforest Bank TRI will conclude with an awards Post- Race Party featuring live music, food and fun at Northshore Park. Register for Woodforest Bank TRI - The Woodlands Triathlon.

Muddy Trails Bash (May 2, 2020)
The 2020 Muddy Trails Bash will feature chip-timed 10K and 5K trail runs, Little Muddy Kids' Fun Run (one mile) and the 2K-9 Fun Run (runner and their dog). All runs take place on the beautiful trails of the George Mitchell Nature Preserve in the Village of Creekside Park and end with a festive Post-Race Party with live zydeco music, the Muddy Bowl Crawfish Cook-Off and children's activities at Rob Fleming Park. Muddy Trails Bash is a USA Track & Field (USATF) sanctioned event. Please Note: Muddy Trails Bash is not a mud run or adventure race. Register for Muddy Trails Bash.

Memorial Hermann 10 for Texas (October 10, 2020)
Memorial Hermann 10 for Texas features a 10-mile chip-timed race, the 3.1 Armadillo Run (chip-timed 5K) and the One 4 Texas Kids’ Fun Run. The USATF-sanctioned event ends with a Texas-sized Post-Race Party in Northshore Park with live Country music and fun for all. Register for Memorial Hermann 10 for Texas.
