THE WOODLANDS, TX -- As of 10:30 a.m. this morning, there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 for residents of Montgomery County. There was an erroneous report on the John Hopkins’ website that falsely showed a confirmed case in Montgomery County. The error has been fixed by the administrator of the website. There have been 2 confirmed cases of COVID-19 at a local hospital but neither individual are residents of Montgomery County.

The Montgomery County Public Health Department is currently in Phase 2 of its response plan (see below graphic for COVID-19 response Phases).

I am in constant communication with my fellow county officials along with the Montgomery County Public Health Department and we are monitoring the situation very closely. Please continue to get information on the novel Coronavirus from credible sources such as the CDC or Montgomery County Public Health Department.
