Travel the World at 4th Annual MOW Cigars Under the Stars

THE WOODLANDS, TX - Meals on Wheels Montgomery County (MOWMC) will host their 4 th Annual Cigars Under the Stars transporting attendees to Shanghai to benefit homebound seniors in Montgomery County on Friday, April 17 at 7:00pm at the Blend Bar in The Woodlands. Join Meals on Wheels Montgomery County for an entertaining casual evening of live music, complimentary drinks, hors d’oeuvres, a Bourbon and Cigar Bar, signature drinks and special appetizers prepared by Meals on Wheels Chef John.

Presented by Merrill Lynch, other sponsors include Luanne and Steve Bozeman, Insperity, Angela and Scott Porter, Stephanie and Darren Ercolani, Joanne & John Tikkanen, Charissa & Russ Kovin, and Endurance Automation Technologies. Co-Chairs, Angel Porter and Natalie Drake, are excited to lead the committee in transforming the venue into Shanghai Nights. “It’s a highly sought-after event, with only 250 tickets being sold” stated Angel Porter, “There are still some sponsorship opportunities and the intimate atmosphere makes for a unique opportunity to mix and mingle with clients and friends.”

Meals on Wheels Montgomery County’s mission is to foster the dignity and independence of homebound seniors by providing home delivered meals, transportation and caring connections. Events like Cigars under the Stars raise crucial funds to provide service to the homebound elderly who want to stay independent in their own homes. MOWMC has a waiting list and receives 50 calls a month from seniors seeking assistance.
