MAGNOLIA, TX -- The West Montgomery County Development Center, located at 31355 Friendship Dr., Magnolia, TX 77355, will be closed temporarily beginning Thursday, March 12, 2020, due to the recent health concerns surrounding COVED-19 The directors of this facility choose to protect the valued members of our community by temporarily restricting gatherings that are regularly held at this location.

This is being done as a precautionary measure only. A large percentage of the members and guests who visit this center are within the age group that can be the most susceptible to contracting and developing serious health concerns in association with this virus. Specific groups that frequent the building are, The Friendship Center and SOS, (Some, of Samaritans) among others

'It is critical that In order to protect and care for everyone who visits this facility, that they understand our concern is to provide a safe environment for all guests It is better to be cautious and shield our seniors from this virus than to allow the risk of anyone becoming ill while visiting this Center'
