MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- 'Every year during the second week of April telecommunications personnel in the public safety community are honored. This week-long event initially set up in 1981 by Patricia Anderson of the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office in California, is a time to celebrate and thank those who dedicate their lives to serving the public. It is a week that should be set aside so everyone can be made aware of their hard work and dedication.' [http://www.npstw.org/about-npstw/]

Please help the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office in thanking the men and women who work tirelessly to help keep our community, our homes and our loved ones safe every day. Regardless of the time of day, day of the week, or holiday-they sacrifice for us. Without these compassionate listeners on the other side of 911, thousands of people in distress and need of help would have their cries fall upon deaf ears. Our telecommunicators’ calm voices ensure those cries get the help they need.

Thank you Telecommunicators, this week is for you!
