The Woodlands Fire Department Respond to Structure Fire in The Village of Sterling Ridge

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- At 0200 this morning TWFD was dispatched to a reported structure fire on Jewelsford in The Village of Sterling Ridge. Engine 105 was first on scene and reported smoke coming from a single family residence. Firefighters quickly located and extinguished a small fire in the garage. The occupants had exited safely prior to arrival after being alerted by their smoke alarms. Fire damage was confined to the garage with some smoke damage to the house. Fire cause remains under investigation by Montgomery County Fire Marshal's Office. TWFD was assisted by Magnolia Fire and Montgomery County Hospital District.
