THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Calling all pet owners! Enter your little loves into The Woodlands Heating & Air Conditioning’s Virtual Beauty Pageant For Pets! This fundraising event benefits Operation Pets Alive, a non-profit, all-volunteer organization striving to elevate Montgomery County to a No-Kill community through innovative programs that: raise community awareness, reduce the number of dogs and cats that enter our shelters, and increase the number of dogs and cats that leave our shelters alive.

Entering the contest is simple; just upload the cutest picture of your pet to https://thewoodlandsac.com/OPA/. Dogs, cats, hamsters, geckos, whatever best friend you have is welcome! Residents can then vote on their favorites and the pet with the most votes will be named Critter King or Queen of 2020! Voting will take place September 23 through September 30.

A donation of $1 per pet is suggested but there is of course an option to increase it. The Woodlands Heating & Air Conditioning will match donations up to $5,000 total.

“Operation Pets Alive and Woodlands Heating & Air Conditioning believe that many in our community share our values with regard to homeless dogs and cats,” said Phil Musial, General Manager of The Woodlands Heating & Air Conditioning. “OPA is well organized and have a laser focus on the cause. They are truly making a difference in helping our homeless pets in need,” he said.

A raffle will also be held. 100 percent of the ticket sales will go directly toward OPA! Enter for your chance to win:
• A Trane XR14 Air Conditioner and Heating system
• A YETI Tundra Haul Portable Wheeled Cooler Tan
• A Google Nest Hello Video Doorbell
• An Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS, 38mm) - Space Gray Aluminum Case with Black Sport Band
• Apple AirPods with Wireless Charging Case
• Or a Dog basket!

“The fulfilling feeling of giving back and contributing to society is unparalleled,” Musial said. “When you support a cause you are passionate about it’s something you will never regret. It will enrich your life, familiarize you with your community, and connect you to people and ideas that will positively impact your perspective for the rest of your life. Helping your community is an opportunity for you to grow as a person, and to better understand how you fit into the world around you.”
