HS Volleyball Scoreboard: Cooper falls in 4, The Woodlands survives road scare

THE WOODLANDS, TX --

Frassati 3, Cooper 1

Falcons won 21-25, 25-17, 26-24, 25-22

The Dragons battled all night, but couldn’t quite break down a resilient Frassati team. Cooper found themselves trailing most of the night, but in the first set, Cooper was able to dig themselves out of a hole thanks to the play of AJ Harrell. Harrell impacted the game from all over the court to give Cooper the set 1 win.

In Set 3, Cooper put together a great start and found themselves in control of the game for the first time since set one. The Dragons were on the winning side of a couple of momentum-swinging rallies and looked to be on their way to taking a 2-1 lead. However, Frassati pulled a surprising late comeback to steal the set. The Falcons would survive one last late push by Cooper to take Set 4 and the match.
