Montgomery County COVID-19 Update for December 4, 2020

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX – Montgomery County Public Health District, in conjunction with the Montgomery County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, can sadly confirm three additional deaths related to COVID-19.

• A man in his 60s, from Magnolia, died in the hospital. There were no co-morbidities noted in his medical record.
• A woman in her 60s, from Splendora, died in the hospital. She had co-morbidities in addition to testing positive for COVID-19.
• A woman in her 90s, from Montgomery, died in the hospital. She had co-morbidities in addition to testing positive for COVID-19.

We can also confirm:

• TOTAL cases of COVID-19 increased by 286 to 18,934 since yesterday’s (12/3) report. Of the 286 new cases, 156 were tested on or after 11/20/2020.
• ACTIVE cases of COVID-19 increased by 186 to 3,993 since yesterday’s (12/3) report.
• 30 residents are known, as a result of contact investigations, to be in the hospital. Contact investigations have not been initiated on all reported cases.
• 11,335 people have clinically recovered.
