THE WOODLANDS, TX - Every year, over 3.6 million referrals are made to child protection agencies involving more than 6.6 million children (www.childhelp.org).

Child abuse is always a difficult topic to discuss, and yet it is imperative that we raise awareness and do our part to prevent child abuse. Here at YES to YOUTH, we would always prefer to see prevention rather than treatment when it comes to children's mental and physical well-being.

Keep your eyes out for blue pinwheels around The Woodlands and Conroe area during the month of April. Children love pinwheels, which represent childlike whimsy and lightheartedness and our vision for a world where all children grow up happy, healthy, and prepared to succeed in supportive families and communities. Children can take the pinwheels as a gift, and we can spread awareness and raise money in the process. Visit our booth on Market Street on April 17th, where children can make their own pinwheel. Please make a donation and help us save a child's life. #togetherwesavelives
