CISD Board of Trustees Approve Carrying Over 'Walter P. Jett' Name to the New Teacher Training Center

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Last night, the Conroe ISD Board of Trustees approved to move Walter P. Jett’s name from its current location at the Continuing Education Center to the new Teacher Training Center being constructed at the Woodforest Bank Stadium complex. The Continuing Education Center has been sold to the City of Conroe and will transition into a performing arts center in the future. Walter P. Jett was a former educator and principal in Conroe ISD. The Board unanimously agreed to continue his legacy by carrying over the name for the new training center opening in Spring of 2022!
