Friday evening saw an impressive performance for the three Grand Oaks Football teams. They took to the grid iron against Pasadena Memorial in a preseason scrimmage. Before the varsity scrimmage, the JV and freshman teams played first. Both showed a high caliber of up and coming talent for Grand Oaks. With development and determination, these two teams showed that Grand Oaks is committed to building a future of success for the program.

The varsity game was an impressive display of what Grand Oaks has for this football season. Though, the team has only been practicing for a few weeks together, they proved that they can execute. The defensive side of Grand Oaks showed a thirst for contact. They dominated the Pasadena Memorial offense. Offensively, Grand Oaks has multiple weapons at its disposal, from its quarter back and receiving core to its running backs. It wasn’t a perfect performance, but the chemistry was there. Coach Mike Jackson and his Grand Oaks Football team is defiantly something to keep on any opponent’s radar.
