The Woodlands Township invites residents to Labor Day celebration

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Woodlands Township invites residents to celebrate Labor Day weekend on Sunday, September 4, 2022, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Waterway Square, 31 Waterway Square Place. This free event offers live music, children’s activities, strolling entertainment, pie eating contests and fireworks.

The event schedule features performances by Leslie Lugo Band (Latin/Variety) and free craft activities while supplies last, along with complimentary face painting and balloon art. Pie eating contests, sponsored by Pie in the Sky Pie Co., will be open to both youth and adults. Those interested will be able to sign up for the eating contests onsite, but space is very limited. Early arrival is highly encouraged to ensure a spot in the contests. Following an evening of fun and entertainment, the event concludes with a fireworks show, weather permitting.

A beverage booth will be available to purchase a variety of beverages. Attendees are encouraged to patronize local restaurants before or after the event. Coolers, picnic baskets, blankets and lawn chairs are permitted. Please note, glass is prohibited.
