Coach Matthew Wilson: What a journey this season has been. The team grew through adversity, rallied into a cohesive group, and displayed extraordinary character. We are so proud of these boys. Though we may not have gotten to hoist the trophy this year, we were worthy of being champions.
I am so grateful for the effort put in to make this season such a memorable one. Thank you to our players, parents, coaching staff, administration, and the best student section in SPC. Go Dragons!

VARSITY GIRLS BASKETBALL

3-A SPC Girls Basketball Championships:

2/10 semifinal vs St Andrews • 35-15 L
2/11 for third place vs Casady • 45-21 W

Dragon Girls Basketball • SPC 3-A Third Place

Coach BJ Feuerhelm: What a tremendous way to end the season! The girls really focused on going to Dallas and making their mark. In the opening round, they knocked off the fourth seed, Fort Worth country day. In the semifinal round, the Dragons fought, but came up short against eventual champions, St. Andrews. But the most thrilling win came on Saturday. where the girls played quite possibly their best all-around game of the season in an upset win over the three-seed Casady cyclones. With this win, the girls secured their first-ever third-place finished in an SPC tournament. I could not be prouder of this group's effort and selflessness throughout the season!

Dragon Girls Soccer • SPC 3-A Fourth Place

Coach Friederike Engel: The girls played an amazing tournament, and we are very proud of them. We ended our season with a win against Houston Christian on Thursday and two close games against top-seeded teams on Friday and Saturday. In the end, we got fourth place in the championship. Sharlenn Meixeiro saved the day on multiple occasions as our goalkeeper. Haley Lien and Mobis Bassir both had strong performances as center backs. Our midfielders and forwards impressed us with combination play and tackling. Kaitlin Hinch, Maddie Burchfiel and Pia Quintana convinced centrally, and Camila Ruano and Chloe Hernandez played great as outside mids. Overall, the team functioned well as a unit and the girls left everything on the field. The weekend was a fantastic end to a season we will never forget.
